φιλία/philia(=philia, combining form for “affection”, “friendship” or “mutual love”.

Coined/History
The first meaning of “philia” in ancient period was fraternal love. Philia in Aristotele’s Nicomachean Ethics is translates usulaly as “friendship”.

Definition:
-philia(=combining form meaning the state of “friendship”, “tendency to”, “attraction”, “affinity for”.
-phile (=is the subgect, person or substance having the “tendency to”, “attraction”, “affinity for”.
