Term: condyloma (plural condylomata) 

Origin: Anc Greek  Κόνδυλος (= knuckle) + -ωμα/-oma( = a noun suffix used tof orm names of tumors, or to denote "marked growth".  

Definition:

Genital warts are soft, wart-like growths on the genitals caused by a virus.  The virus responsible for genital warts is called human papilloma virus (HPV), also called Condyloma and which is transmitted by sexual contact.

Comments:
There are two types of condylomata : The two subtypes are:
Condyloma acuminata, or genital warts, caused by human papilloma virus
Condyloma Latum, white lesions associated with secondary syphilis
Giant condyloma are clinically malignmant variants of condylomnata acuminate. The first 2 cases of this unusual lesion were reported by Buschke in 1896 in Neisser’s  Atlas.
