παρά /para(=becide) + πάρεσις/paresis(=partial paralysis)
παρίημι/pariimi(=letting go, relaxation) literally meaning  “relax strength”
> παρά-/para-(=becide) + ίημι/iimi(=send out )
Definition:
An incomplete  or mild paralysis which occurs in lower extremities.
*paralysis means total loss of function in the affected muscles / nerves.
