'ïσμή/osmi(=odor, smell)
Osmium named after it’s irritating odor when heated in air
Coined/History 
Osmium was found in 1803 by English chemists Smithson Tennan (1761-1815) and William Hyde Wollaston (1766-1828). Osmium and iridium were identified in the black residue remaining after dissolving platinum ore with aqua regia.
Definition
Osmium is a blue-grey dense chemical element with atomic number  76 and atomic mass 190,23.
