The Amazons a female warriors nation in Classical antiquity and Greek Mythology were so brave that only the most famous Greek heroes as Heracles, Achilleus and Theseus were capable to defeat them. Amazons were living in a region of a territory of modern Ukraine and according Classical Greeks the word amazon was derived from a-mazos, (=without brest), connected with the tradition in order to be able to use a bow more freely.
