–πάθεια/patheia (-pathy, suffix denoting “suffering”) > πάθος( masculine gender) / pathos(=passion, sorrow, strong emotion).

Definition
Spondyloarthropathy is a medical condition involving the vertebral joints. In contrast Spondylopathy is any disorder of the vertabrae causing pain and stiffness of the part.
