Literally meaning: “pertaining to cheese”
Origin: Anc Greek
Τυρί/tyri(=cheese)  >τυρέω/tyreo(=milk coagulation)

Coined/History 
Tyrosine was discovered in 1846 by German chemist von Liebig  from cheese casein.

Definition
Tyrosine is a proteinogenic non-essential aminoacid.  It is derived in body by phenylalanine  and it can also be found in foods such as soy products, fish, diary products, poultry and sesame seeds. In medicine tyrosine is used in phenylketonuria (PKU), a condition in which people cannot biosynthesize tyrosine from phenyllanine.
