The earliest records for castration was reported from around the 21st century BC in the Sumerian city of Lagash . In China castration was performed not only as a punishment but also as a prerequisite for entering imperial service. Eunuchs were in charge of the harem in the Ottoman court During the Baroque period the young boys known as “castrati” would use castration in order to keep their voices at a higher pitch especially serving the Roman Catholic Church for choirs when women were not allowed to sing in church.
Definition
Eunuch is a castrated man. Eunuch is infertile and produce less testosterone as either he hasn’t or has less active testicles.
